We’re thrilled to kick off another year of celebrating community, adventure and passion for snowsports. The RUSS Committee is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences on and off the slopes, from epic ski adventures and competitions to vibrant social events that bring our community together.

As your 2025 committee, our mission is to represent the established spirit of RUSS: celebrating skiing, snowboarding, and the camaraderie that comes with it. Whether you're a seasoned rider, a first-time shredder, or just here for the vibes, our committee is here to make your RUSS experience unforgettable.

  • Ben Shirkey

    PRESIDENT

    Our big boss this year, nothing gets past this man except for a break in his wrist only discovered 4 months after the case 💀. Shirks is a true fiend for the slopes, rips on a board and is a menace in rage cage games, notorious for locking people in the cage.

  • Eddie Le Brocque

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Second in command this year, in his final year at uni, Eddie aims to devote as little time to the books this year and as much as possible to the slopes.

  • Chloe Petersen

    SECRETARY

    Organisational queen of RUSS in 2025 👑, handling all the admin behind the scenes and making sure the club stays afloat.

  • Daniel Azoor

    TREASURER

    The man making all the money moves in 2025. As a self proclaimed corporate slave, Dan has the financial literacy skills to make sure we don’t sink the ship this year 🚢 ⚓️

  • Elisha Walker

    SOCIALS MANAGER

    Following her Danish adventures, Elisha reprises her role on socials for 2025. Elisha is easily the most steezy skier out on the slopes with the park skills to back it up ⛷️

    INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

    Our merchandising visionary for 2025, bringing her design flair to the RUSS family for 2025, we are so excited to see what she can cook up this season 👩‍🍳

  • Lachy Stoddart

    EVENTS MANAGER

    New to the committee but no stranger to a bluebird day and a big night out, Lachy is joining the team as one of our Events Managers for 2025. Swapping cattle for carves and paddocks for powder, this country-raised guy is here to make sure every RUSS event is one to remember (even if you don’t).

    TRIPS MANAGER

    If Amber isn’t on the floor, it hasn’t been a big night 🍻, words all RUSS members know too well. In addition to her impressive shotski skills, Amber is such a BMB, embracing her Austrian heritage and instructing for a season over there 🇦🇹

  • Ollie Boyd-Clark

    TRIPS MANAGER

    A fresh face to the club, Ollie made his RUSS debut in 2024, assisting us in taking the W 🏆 at VICS. Despite being traumatised by getting taken down some closed black runs (so sorry ski patrol), Ollie is keen to push his boundaries and rip it up next season 🏂
